Lewis County Sheriff William D. Lewis, pursuant to KRS 424.330, hereby announces that the 2008 Delinquent Property Tax list will be published in the Lewis County Herald on April 13, 2009. This will be the only newspaper advertisement of the 2008 delinquent property tax bills. The list of delinquent tax bills is also available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Sheriff’s office located at 112 Second St. Suite 102 in the Lewis County Courthouse. Additionally, a listing of the delinquent property tax bills will be posted on the Lewis County Sheriff website beginning on April 1, 2009 and continuing for a period of not less than 30 days. The listing of delinquent property tax bills on the website will be updated weekly. The Uniform Resource Locator (URL) for the internet website is www.lewiscountysheriff.org. The sheriff’s tax sale of the delinquent 2008 property tax bills will be held at 112 Second St. Suite 102 at the Lewis County Courthouse on April 30, 2009 at 10:00 am.
